Hi there!!

I am Shikha Mahajan, Practicing Nutrition Counsellor, Certified Metabolism Specialist and an Intuitive Eating Coach. I completed my Diploma in Genetics from Harvard Medical School and Certifications in Sustainable Nutrition from John Hopkins and Diploma in Immunology from Harvard Medical School.

An alumni Lady Shri Ram College, I spent my teens morbidly obese, with PCOS, Metabolic Syndrome and crippling Migraines. I knew deep down that this isn’t hat I want, but didn’t know what needed to change. My journey and interest in Holistic Healing began with Reiki. What started as a general interest led me to explore Reiki till I cleared my Grandmaster Levels.

Studying Nutrition and Wellness professionally changed my life. Once I realised the true potential of nutrition, I decided to use my skills in Nutrition and Holistic Therapies to run my practice, where I help people improve their relationship with food and learn how to eat intuitively, so they can focus on nurturing their bodies without the need to count each calorie.

Applying the knowledge of nutrition to real world is a multi-faceted task and unique for each individual. I am a strong believer in health at every size and understand that my work goes long beyond bringing the numbers on the scale down.

I help people to stop seeing food as calories or simply fuel. Food is sustenance. Food is nutrition, food is literally what our body is made of.

Most importantly, food is a way for us to communicate with our body. When we eat something, we give our body commands to process it in certain ways. My philosophy is that a healthy diet is not about staying thin, strict diet plans or depriving oneself of their nutritional needs. Rather it is about optimum health, healthy weight and mental wellbeing

NOURISH DON’T PUNISH

The mantra is a saviour for many in todays diet culture. While everyone wants quick, fast, instant results, there has been one growing problem. Everyone wants instant weight loss at the cost of their health.

This is not healthy neither sustainable. Leading to an instant relapse in lost weight, this forms a weight loss and gain cycle, that needs breaking.

Launched in 2019 our campaign, #NourishDontPunish is an attempt to raise awareness regarding the same.

Most people who come to me for weight loss soon realise that excess weight has been a symptom of something else- thyroid, pcos, raised cortisol, or sometimes even eating too little and working out too much. Those stuck in the weight loss and gain cycle, have realised that giving sufficient time to the body to heal is the right way to go about losing the weight. Once all other things in the body are in balance, the weight falls off easily.
